Children
Children are vitally important to us at FBC Jax Beach. Jesus told His followers that a "child-like" faith and trust in Him is the only way for a person to have a relationship with God. This points to an openness in the life of children to better know their Creator. All of our children/preschool opportunities are focused on three main truths: God exists, God loves you, and God wants you to love Him. Through our various avenues of helping children and families grow spiritually, we seek to offer environments that are fun, safe, interactive, and biblical.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
SUNDAY SCHOOL:
We have a Sunday class for each age group...from the nursery to 5th grade...that lays the foundation for life-long spiritual growth. We have Sunday School each week starting @9:15am
EXTENDED SESSION:
After Sunday, we take special care of our preschoolers in Extended Session. Extended Session meets while you are in the main worship service and gives our youngest kids an opportunity to run, play, have a snack, learn, and meet new friends in a loving, caring, and safe environment. Extended Session meets every Sunday @10:30am for our Bed-Babies-Pre-K children.
KIDZONE CHILDREN'S CHURCH:
Each Sunday morning during the Worship time, your kids will be with you during the music portion of the service. We believe that it is important for our children to be able to participate in the music each week. Before the sermon, however, the children (K-2nd grade) will transition out of the sanctuary and begin having fun in KidZone Children's Church. KidZone brings a little bit of everything to the mix: games, crafts, and teaching. This program has a dual purpose in mind: to teach children in fun ways on their level and to alleviate any worry that you may have about bringing your child into the main worship service. KidZone meets every Sunday @10:30am for K-2nd graders.
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS
PRESCHOOL MUSIC AND MISSIONS
Preschool M&M (ages 3-PreK) involves preschoolers in singing, playing, and learning about how God loves each of them so very much. The Fall semester of Preschool M&M will begin on September 14th@6:15pm-7:30.
CHILDREN'S MUSIC AND MISSIONS
CHildren's M&M (K-5th grade) teaches our kids the importance of praising God through the arts as well as involving them in showing God's love to the surrounding community. Bring your kids a couple of times, and we know that they will want to keep coming back week after week! The Fall semester of Children's M&M will begin on September 14th@6:15-7:30pm.
